Artist Bio

Ashlawnfarms is where I grew up-a Jersey Dairy Farm in Selma, Indiana. We dispersed the herd in 1988 after I graduated from high school. A few years later grandma taught me the art of quilting. She and I partnered and created many wonderful traditional quilts over the next 10 years. A stroke took her normal life and she passed 7 years later. During that time I stopped quilting. In the fall of 2006 I discovered rag quilting and quickly fell in love. I then discovered my talent to rag quilt as well as teach others how to rag quilt. I created a few rag purse patterns and have sold 300+ copies in 6 months over the web. As far as I know all of my buyers have been very pleased with my patterns. They are easy for beginners and those who have been sewing for years. My husband, who is a graphic designer, created the .pdf documents and the graphics for me. If you purchase an ePattern from me it will be downloadable once it is paid for. You will recieve it FAST via the web! How exciting not to have to wait for it to arrive via snail mail! Thanks for visiting my ePattern Shoppe. And as grandma used to say: Stay awhile! I have new rag quilt epatterns this November 2008. Just in time for the holidays!
